The Rolex Bible (wait…there’s a Rolex Bible)? In case you are like me and are clueless about Rolex except from whatever small piece of information you managed to glean upon a quick scan of a passing billboard or a shiny glimpse from strangers’ wrists, we don’t have to be in the dark anymore. We can be in the light of the Rolex Bible and know everything we need to know to be a smart seller and a smart buyer of the luxury watch.
We have the Swiss watch specialty company Zimbals to thank. They have released the ninth pressing of their Rolex guide, which retailers can use to evaluate the timepieces for authenticity and other information.
Called “The Professional’s Handbook of Pre-Owned Rolex Watches,” the book serves as a guide to Rolex watch authentication and includes full color photographs for easy comparison and detailed examinations of bands, cases, dials, parts and accessories.
It also includes tips on identifying fake Rolex watches and examples of current counterfeits.
The guide is an accumulation of more than 40 years of knowledge and experience, Zimbals said, and is sometimes referred to as “The Rolex Bible,” setting the industry standard in Rolex watch authentication. The book also is featured in the Rolex Library.
Available to retailers and the general public, the book can be obtained by contacting Zimbals at 800-783-8586.
