I was nervous/intimidated before doing this, but it all went much easier than I expected. I sold my gold and old silver flatware. Very happy!

I didn't see the markings, so when I went in they were nice enough to take their time and look at each piece. They showed me how most were just plated (which is what I already suspected). They did find a small set of sterling though and offered me $100+ for it. I was very happy as I figured I wouldn't have gotten anything. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS, 5 stars all the way.

Ohmygosh, I loved this place. I was skeptical about selling gold to someone I hadn't met, but I'm now a believer. It was a nice, upscale place. The guy who helped me couldn't have been nicer. And to top it off, I got MORE money than I thought I would. When does that ever happen?? I took a bunch of business cards and I've handed them out to all my girlfriends. I know there are a lot of scammers out there, but not this place. Solid, trustworthy people.

I have visited Gold Exchange on Melrose several times and every time it has been a great experience. I did some research and checked out competitors rates in my area, studio city, and found Gold Exchange to have the best deals. The shop is very nice and feels very professional and comfortable. I was unsure what to expect when going to this type of place, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy and welcoming it was. The staff were very friendly and helpful and honest. As I said I have been there a few times because my first impression was so good. It is such a great way to spring clean out your old unworn jewelry pieces, gold and silver. It makes a huge difference to have a good experience as this is such a personal thing to do and you want people to handle the situation delicately, professionally and honestly.

Great! Couldn't be happier with my experience here. I sold my Rolex, a diamond ring and all my old gold and silver jewelry. They were professional, honest and had the best prices. I got market value for the watch and diamond and much more than I ever expected for the gold. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Great place!

I had a great experience here! Very high prices, extremely personable and helpful staff, classy and clean place -- nothing that I expected. I sold all my 14k gold and got near 80% of the market price. There's a lot of cash for gold places out there now but these guys seem to be doing it right. Street parking only which is always a hassle, but there were plenty of spaces available. Very pleased.

I was very pleased with the prices and service here. I did my research, went to a few other local buyers and received the highest price here. I had some old gold rings and necklaces, a Rolex and a few silver pieces. I printed out a coupon from their website and was given an extra $50 on top of the offer. Not to mention the gemologists that helped me were very kind and easy to work with. I had a small diamond, less than a 1/4 carat, but they passed on that saying it was hard to resell diamonds. Best prices and customer service I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to sell my gold and came here. Unlike a pawnshop or a cash for gold place, they were very professional and courteous. The staff took their time and carefully evaluated all of my gold and gave me a much higher price than other jewelry stores. It seems to be a relatively new place, it even smells new! lol This was my first time selling gold and jewelry and it didn't feel icky at all. If you sell gold, put them on your list.

There are a lot of places to sell gold these days and I have tried a few. Even the cash for gold sites. Bad idea. I was given the highest prices and treated the best here. The also buy diamonds and buy watches as well. I live in Santa Monica so it was very convenient. The store seems pretty new - very classy feeling like a jewelry store. Sell gold here in my opinion.‎

I received 3 times as much as I was offered at the recent hotel traveling jewelry buyers that come through town every few months. After being treated rudely and offered a pittance for my old gold items (I admit it wasn't much, just a few old necklaces and rings) I found Diamond & Gold Exchange and was paid $360! The hotel buyer offered me $125! I was treated with respect and actually enjoyed my experience here. Very pleased!‎

This is a very professional business with a great staff. It's interesting because they don't sell jewlery, they are strictly buyers. They also don't pawn or lend money. I guess it makes sense in today's econmic climate to have businesses like this out there. The employees know there stuff and were extremly helpful - no hard sell. This was my first time ever selling my jewelry and I was pleasantly surprised. I tried Craigslist first (awful) then I went to a few pawnshops (more awful) then I came here. They gave me a great price (I sold old gold jewelry from the 80's and my ex's diamond ring). They also have a referral program and I've cashed in on that by recommendeing my friends. Not bad. You do have to show ID and get a fingerprint when you sell but I understand that's the law and how it is everywhere. The staff was very nice and helpful. Thumbs up!‎

I had a collection of fine jewelry, scrap gold and gold coins. After getting quotes from several other jewelry buyers I finally got by far the highest price from Diamond and Gold Exchange. I was very impressed by their service and knowledge. My total was over $500 so I also got an additional $50 bonus! This was first time selling my old gold and jewelry and didn't know what to expect. I was worried to go to a pawn shop so I called around to a few places and ended up selling everything here. I was treated very nicely and got exceptional prices for all my items. It was a bit hard to find at first because their sign isn't that noticable from the street but I eventually located it - and aa a bonus they have free parking in the back. Unlike many of the other gold buyers I visited, I felt comfortable and well attended to the entire time I was there. And since my transaction was more than $500 they added an additional $50 on as a bonus on top of it! I was seen right away, without an appointment, and the service was impecable. I went here last week after visiting a few places. I was low-balled by everyone else I went to but got the highest rate here. Most other buyers I went to we actually pretty rude and condescending. The staff here was polite and took thier time with me. Also, the place also doesn't feel "icky" like a few other spots I visited. I will be telling my friends.‎

I visited Gold Exchange and was so surprised by how nice the place was and how polite the employees were. I sold all my jewelry, got a very fair price and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I couldn't get over how nice the store was and how pleasant all the employees were to me. It was easy to find and had no problem parking. I wish I had heard of this place a long time ago!‎

The ladies that work here are fantastic and were very helpful and knowledgeable. Gold Exchange is by far the most professional and helpful jewelry buyer I have visited. I went to a few other buyers in Beverly Hills and Sherman Oaks and was offered almost half of what Gold Exchange paid me. And more importantly, I didn't feel like I was going to a pawn shop.
